RCS & SMS Pricing

SendRCS is pay-as-you-go: no subscription, no minimum term and no setup fees. You only pay per message sent. The price depends on the recipient's country and the message type - RCS Basic Text, RCS Rich Text, RCS Rich Card, RCS Rich Carousel or SMS. All current prices per country are listed in the tables on this page.

Not necessarily. Both RCS and SMS are billed per message and per recipient country. RCS Basic Text (RBM Basic Message) is priced at or close to the SMS rate in most countries, while rich formats such as Rich Cards and Carousels (RBM Single Message) cost more per message. Compare the tables above to see the exact difference for each country.

You pay RCS prices for RCS recipients and SMS prices for SMS fallback. When a recipient cannot receive RCS, SendRCS automatically sends the message as an SMS and charges the SMS price for that country instead of the RCS price. There is no extra fee for the fallback itself.

Testing is always free. Registering a verified RCS sender and sending to your test phone numbers costs nothing - test numbers are usually activated within minutes. In some countries the mobile network operators charge a one-time setup fee to take a sender live. You will see the exact fee for your country when you apply to go live with your RCS sender. There is no minimum contract. Final verification by the operators takes approx. 2-6 weeks depending on country and operator.

No. Incoming messages are always free - you only pay for the messages you send. With a Conversational RCS Agent, a reply from the recipient opens a 24-hour conversation at a flat rate that covers all messages exchanged within that window.

With a Conversational RCS Agent, you only pay the message price unless the recipient replies. If the recipient replies, a conversation is opened and for 24 hours you can freely exchange messages at a flat conversation rate. If the recipient reads the message but does not reply, only the message price is charged.
